She began playing the guitar and writing songs on her own when she was thirteen and when relocating to Stockholm in her late teens she was quickly signed by imperial Recordings and made two folk goth albums in the moniker of Promise and the Monster. FURA (ICE)
Haling from a small fishing village on the east coast of Iceland, Fura is a project combining the talents of vocalist Björt Sigfinnsdóttir and production duo Hallur Jónsson and Janus Rasmussen (Bloodgroup). The nucleus of their work explores the contrast between dark beats (from the male production team) and the heightened, sensual, female voice of Sigfinnsdóttir, while exuding the mystical nature of their home environment and the sense of isolation and emotion produced by its landscapes. In 2013 the group released their first single “Demons” and in early 2014 the second single “Poems of the past”.

MØSTER (NO)

SEKUOIA (DK)
Sekuoia, alias of 21-year old Patrick Madsen, combines the organic with the electronic in a dreamy meltdown and has been chosen to support acts like Inc, Active Child, Washed Out, MØ and WhoMadeWho, as well as remixing Tomas Barfod. His sound consist of dry beats, synth washes and copy/pasted vocals conjure echoes of both dubstep and atmospheric ambient. The Danish producer is creating delicate electronic music that effortlessly bridges ambient, hip hop and electronica. His painterly soundscapes are equal parts night club after midnight and stalactite cave at dawn.
