Sante’s AVOTRE label and global party series are bastions of quality modern house music known for championing new talents like Sidney Charles alongside more experienced heads like Chris Carrier. Now the label is proud to offer up a Various Artists showcase that welcomes three new artists to the fold.
First up is Emanuel Satie, a Frankfurt producer with credits on Get Physical and Bout. Records. He offers ‘Bossin Up’, a tight, bouncing house cut with clean, groovier percussion and trippy melodies falling up the face of the track. A spraying baseline also comes in to keep things moving along and will likely send fists skyward when it drops in the club.
Next up is Wade, a Spanish producer and DJ with more than thirty hits in the Beatport Top 100 and releases on MOOD and Suara, amongst others. His cut ‘Boldness’ is a full blooded, shuffling tech track with deep looping bass, alien melodies and effects and a drunken synth line that adds plenty of off kilter charm.
Lastly, Manchester pair and VIVa alumni System2 aka Tez Hurst & Danny Hevingham close out the EP with ‘Dug Out’. On top of their well crafted, engaging drums and warm, sub bass are all manner of freaky voices, skittish snares and sun kissed melodies that rise up through the mix to bring a real sense of heat and uplifting emotion to the EP.
In branching out here the AVOTRE label has unearthed a trio of talented producers that fit in perfectly with the label’s MO to date.
