As Croatia continues to be a magnet for sun-kissed music festivals it’s time to put the spotlight on the one that started it all…The Garden Festival. Now in its 9th year, The Garden Festival consistently delivers when it comes to exceptional programming and positive summertime vibes. Taking place from 2-9 July in the beautiful town of Tisno, the line-up features the finest electronic music from acts including Ewan Pearson, Alex Boman, Levon Vincent, Young Marco, Eats Everything, Wolf and Lamb, Soul Clap and many, many more. By day, the sun-drenched beachside festival site is lit up with disco beats and boat parties and as night falls the party continues into the early hours with DJ and live sets from the leading artists of the moment. Axel Boman
With a string of well received releases on labels such as Pampa, DFA and Ovum and his 2013 debut album ‘Family Vacation’ receiving props from the likes of Resident Advisor, Alex Boman is sure to be the name on everyone lips this summer. His signature house grooves are the perfect complement to the sun-kissed beachside dance floors at The Garden Festival. Ewan Pearson
One of the most prolific electronic music artists of the last 15 years, Ewan Pearson is the master of remix and production, having remixed the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers and Metronomy to name a few, not to mention producing records for The Rapture, Tracey Thorn, M83 and Delphic. Andre Bratten
With his upbeat synth pop sounds Andre has been quietly amassing a loyal league of followers, not to mention pricking up the ears of fellow Norwegian Prins Thomas who released Bratten’s debut EP ‘Be A Man You Ant’ on Full Pupp. Andre will make his Garden Festival debut this July and we’re expecting big things.

Young Marco
Having worked in Rush Hour records for 6 years then moving on to help reissue and develop artists through the label, young Marco has a genuine love and passion for music, which is easily recognized, through his eclectic style. Known for his genre changing free flowing sets the only thing he says intertwines them is the emotion each track depicts. With an appearance on John Talabots DJ Kicks album and a notable B2B with DJ Harvey at Trouw 2014 is set to be his year.

Medlar
One of WOLF music’s resident producers Medlar has made a name for himself over the last year for his emotive blend of deep house. With obvious influences from Chicago and Detroit mixed with jazz samples and warm soothing synths his productions takes you on a musical journey, successfully keeping you gripped with every step. Fantastic Man
Not content with success under his own moniker, producer Mic Newman propelled his Alter ego Fantastic man into the electronic community. With a rich musical background his sets are a celebration of every genre featuring house, techno and world sounds with a heavy nod to the Chicago and Detroit scene. Promising an exclusive wide-range everywhere he goes expect the unexpected at this years Garden.

Genius of Time
The Swedish masters of analogue house are returning to Tisno once again with their old school house and contemporary party creations. With live instrumentation and a heavy hardware set up their visual performance is a treat for the eyes and ears. Preview what’s in store with the majestic ‘Tuffa Trummor’.

Seven Davis Jr
Born in Houston, Texas, Davis began his musical career singing gospel and playing the keyboard in blues clubs as well as touring with M.C. Hammers Choir. Now living in LA he produces House with his breakthrough track ‘One’ being named as as one of Spin Magazine’s top 50 tracks of 2013. His EP P.A.R.T.Y, described as his take on jazz house, will be released later in the year coinciding with his appearance at this year’s Garden Festival.
Damiano Von Erckert
With a strong love for 70’s, 80’s and 90’s funk, house and soul, apparent through his expert track selection and production, Damiano had a rich musical upbringing resonating in an intellectual and nostalgic sound. Gaining notoriety for his diversion from typical house traditions and atmospheric sets, the man behind record label Ava will captivate and control this year with his positive music showcase.

Greg Wilson
This dance music pioneer has been tearing up dance floors since the mid 70’s and holds many honors for his outstanding contributions to music. From being the first person to DJ live on British TV to teaching Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) how to mix, you cant deny his influence on dance music today. After announcing his retirement in 1983 he returned to the scene two decades later with a treasure chest of disco, house and funk edits. Greg will be back at The Garden Festival once again this year bringing back the magic of the 70’s to the beach stage.
