That’s Melt! for you in a nutshell. Carefully selected international musicians arrive in Ferropolis with thousands of fans following their call to dance. Where tranquil tunes are played during the day, roaring bass and smashing beats reign at night. Established acts meet the latest newcomer. Indie meets electro, techno, and everything else that keeps your feet moving.
Global Publicity represented Melt! Festival from 2008 – 2014. During that time, we helped to grow awareness of Melt! Festival internationally and cement it’s reputation as one of Europe’s leading music festivals with a focus on cutting-edge indie and electronic music. We secured coverage across a whole range of music, travel, fashion and lifestyle media, including Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, FACT, Rolling Stone, Mixmag, DJ Mag, MTV, Crack, SPIN, NME, BBC 6 Music, Clash, Tsugi, Trax, The Quietus, Thump and XLR8R; newspapers The Guardian, The Independent, The Sunday Times, El Pais and La Repubblica; influential lifestyle outlets Dazed Digital, i-D, Hunger, Conde Nast Traveller, Vice, Shortlist and TIME; and fashion titles ELLE, Grazia, Company, Vogue and more. The event sold out in our first year of working with them and continued to do so year on year. The share of Melt!’s international audience also grew from less than 20% in 2008 to over one third in 2014, with media from over 30 different countries in attendance.
