Amsterdam Dance Event

Founded in 1996, the ADE has grown into a globally renowned platform for the international dance and electronic music scene. The festival is the perfect place to spot the latest musical trends and emerging talents, as well as hear the most recent work of both electronic music pioneers and current superstar acts. In addition to the extensive live line-up of ADE Festival, offers music enthusiasts a large and varied daytime program including exhibitions, in store promotions, pop-up stores and film screenings, in locations all over the city centre. The business arm of the event (ADE Conference) is recognized as the most important of its kind, presenting a broad range of conferences and networking opportunities that focus on music and technology, VJs & visuals, sustainability, harder dance styles, new talent and the education of students.

Global Publicity first started working with the Amsterdam Dance Event in 2008 and we are very proud to have played a part in the event’s continued growth and success. Looking after worldwide promotion for the annual event, we have seen the figures rise from 90,000 festival visitors, 2000 conference delegates and 42 nationalities in 2008 to 350,000 festival visitors, 5,500 conference delegates and 85 nationalities in 2014. Throughout that period of phenomenal growth we have helped to spread the world not only about the festival and conference but also about new sub-conferences ADE Green, ADE Beats, ADE Playground and ADE Sound Lab, to name just a few. We’ve also continued to highlight the burgeoning Dutch scene and its influence on the global dance music industry, championing the leading lights of the underground as well as the international superstars. Through our global network of media contacts, we’ve helped to position the Amsterdam Dance Event as the leading electronic music conference and showcase festival in the world, achieving coverage across a wealth of music, travel and lifestyle titles, including Resident Advisor, The Guardian, Mixmag, DJ Mag, Esquire, i-D, BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, Music Week, Groove, INTRO, Trax, Tsugi, Le Mouv, Pitchfork, Thump, The Fader, Billboard, Soundwall, Radio2 and many, many more.
