Sziget, the week-long festival in the middle of the river Danube in Budapest, has a colorful and exciting program variety which is now complete.
The more than 1500 programs taking place non-stop on the island can now be checked on the festival website. Less than 5% of the Sziget passes are available at the moment and with the current sales dynamic they will most probably sell out by the end of June.
A beautiful green island on the Danube, is the location of the non-stop music and arts festival, Sziget, in the middle of August. The program is now complete and there will be around 1500 things to do during the 168 hours. The multicultural gathering where Szitizens are already coming from 98 countries will be a massive celebration. The Main Stage will host The Chemical Brothers, Rihanna, Manu Chao La Ventura, Muse, David Guetta, SIA, Hardwell, Die Antwoord, Jake Bugg, Bastille, John Newman, Sigur Rós, Tinie Tempah, Years & Years, Kaiser Chiefs, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Lumineers, The Last Shadow Puppets and more! The OTP Bank A38 stage will bring its well-known vibrant atmosphere this year with: MØ, Travis Scott, Kovacs, Editors, Unkle, Kodaline, Róisín Murphy, Boy, Bloc Party, Tourist, The Neighborhood, CHVRCHES, M83, Fidlar, Jess Gylnne, Crystal Castles and many many more! The electronic party scene will shift this time as well to the Telekom Arena where Afrojack, Vinai, Dyro, Fedde Le Grand, DVBBS, Zedd, Nicky Romero, Laidback Luke and many more will entertain Szitizens. Moreover more than 10 other stages will wait the music lovers with different genres as well as more than 40 other program venues, where art, fun and many activities will be in the focus!
Károly Gerendai, founder of Sziget Festival, said: “If tickets will sell with this dynamic, they will be sold by the end of June. After this point only day tickets will be available that are also selling out with record-speed. Our previous experience was that day tickets were bought on-the-spot, but now more than 40% of day tickets are sold in advance.”
