101 Voices is the Depeche Mode experience reimagined.  A spectacular live production where electronic sound, symphonic power and human voices become one.

Following a sold-out debut in front of more than 10,000 fans, 101 Voices arrives at Berlin’s Uber Arena on 16th December, where the audience will experience the music of Depeche Mode in a way they have never heard before. Featuring more than two hours of music and 28 of the band’s greatest hits, performed by a symphony orchestra, a 45-member male choir, live band and vocalists, the unique show will take the audience on a musical journey – with every song kept as a surprise for the audience.

The show will also feature special guest Christian Eigner, who has been an integral part of Depeche Mode’s live performances for more than 25 years, alongside Christian Schottstädt, frontman of the acclaimed German tribute band Forced To Mode.

“This is not a tribute show in the traditional sense. It is a unique concert experience that reveals new layers within the music while remaining faithful to the atmosphere, emotion and spirit that made Depeche Mode legendary.” Richárd Riederauer, conductor and musical director

The Darker, Deeper Side of Depeche Mode
Produced in 2026, “101 Voices” draws inspiration from the spirit of the Black Celebration album, exploring the darker, deeper, and more emotional side of Depeche Mode’s music.
Iconic songs from Black Celebration, Music for the Masses, and Violator have been newly arranged, combining a symphony orchestra, a 45-member male choir, electronic sounds, and spectacular live visual production.

The creators emphasise that this is not a traditional tribute concert, but rather a unique live experience that reveals new layers within music audiences already know, while remaining faithful to the atmosphere, emotions, and spirit that define Depeche Mode. More than 80 performers will take the stage.

Christian Eigner – The Authentic Depeche Mode Sound on Stage
One of the project’s biggest highlights is the participation of special guest Christian Eigner, Depeche Mode’s official drummer, who has performed with the band since 1997 and is a permanent member of its touring lineup. His presence on stage guarantees the authentic, original sound audiences know from the band’s live performances.

Orchestra, Choir and Production Team
The musical side of the production is led by, among others:

-Richárd Riederauer – conductor and musical director; since 2020, artistic director of the Hungarian National Male Choir;
-Gergő Borlai – musical arranger; drummer, composer, and producer who has contributed to more than 500 albums;
-Lili Fehér – musical arranger; pianist and vocalist, recipient of the Cziffra Award, whose work combines pop, rock, jazz, and blues.
Performing on stage are the Hungarian National Male Choir – a 45-member professional ensemble founded in 1949, whose repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant to opera, jazz, and rock – as well as the Budapest-based Hungarian Studio Orchestra, which has worked with artists including Ennio Morricone and Michel Legrand.
The rock element is completed by a live band featuring bass, guitar, keyboards, drums, and DJs.
The project was initiated by Balázs Petke, Dániel Szabó, and György Sallai, who have worked on it for more than a decade, aiming to create, as they put it, “an internationally recognised Hungarian production with its own identity.”
