ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag), the key exchange for emerging European music, announces fifteen new acts for its 39th edition line-up by confirming all Music Moves Europe Awards (MME Awards) nominees to showcase at ESNS25.

Yesterday, the fifteen artists nominated for the prestigious MME Awards were announced at Ireland Music Week in Dublin and at the SoAlive Music Conference in Sofia and Reconnect in Brno. Today, ESNS adds the complete list of nominated acts to its 2025 showcase festival line-up.

The MME Awards nominees playing ESNS25 are Boko Yout (se), Daniela Pes (it), HILLARI (no), Joalin (fi), Judeline (es), Kingfishr (ie), Loverman (be), Maella (cz), Mina Okabe (dk), Naomi Sharon (nl), Night Tapes (ee), UCHE YARA (at), Woomb (bg), Yamê (fr), and Zimmer90 (de).

The entire ESNS line-up immediately joins the European Talent Exchange program, increasing their chances of getting booked at major European festivals after showcasing at ESNS.

The MME Awards is the European Union prize celebrating emerging artists representing today’s and tomorrow’s European sound. The MME Awards are designed to accelerate the international careers of upcoming European artists. Earlier MME Awards winners include Alyona Alyona, Christine and the Queens, Dua Lipa, Hozier, Meduza, ROSALÍA, Sans Soucis, Stromae, and Zaho de Sagazan.

Winners will be revealed at the MME Awards ceremony on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at ESNS25.

Earlier, ESNS announced 46 acts for its 2025 line-up, including Baby Lasagna (hr, HRT HR1 Radio), Glintsal (be, VRT Studio Brussel), Käärijä (fi, YLE X), and MRCY (uk-eng, BBC Introducing). Also, ESNS announced the first keynotes and featured speakers for the ESNS Conference.
