German music event promotor Marek Lieberberg is confirmed for a keynote interview by Allan McGowan at the 30th edition of the Eurosonic Noorderslag conference, which takes place from the 13th to the 16th of January, in Groningen, The Netherlands.

Marek Lieberberg – biography: He has established himself as one of the most successful German music entrepreneurs, a true market leader, who managed to open up the road for pop and rock music on the European festival scene. Todd Hansen, lead interactive festival programmer at South by Southwest (SXSW), was announced as the first keynote speaker for the Buma Music meets Tech programme. He will also be part of the Buma Music meets Tech jury, helping to determine which start-up will win the 2016 award. The EPIC program has moved to the Hampshire Hotel, a 2 minutes stroll from our main conference centre, De Oosterpoort and focuses specifically on production and innovation at festivals and music venues. The first panel to be announced is concerning Noise Pollution.

There will also be panels covering topics related to Central and Eastern Europe related to the CEETEP country focus for 2016. More will be announced soon.
