In cooperation with Huawei, Fusion stage of this year’s Adventure brings the most impressive lineup so far.

The second largest live stage on the festival, one of the festival’s most loved stages… Pick a name for Fusion stage you like the most, put some comfortable shoes on and jump until the morning hours to well-known chords and dancing music stars who are arriving from all over the world!

In cooperation with Huawei, Fusion stage of this year’s Adventure brings the most impressive lineup so far: http://youtu.be/kre4Fu7XbTA.

The big international acts such as ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION (UK), THE AFGHAN WHIGS (USA), MIGHTY OAKS (Germany) and TRICOT (Japan) are joined by CHE SUDAKA (ES), NZ SHAPESHIFTER (NZ), BIRTH OF JOY (NL), QUIMBY (HU), ORATNITZA (BL), SEWARD (ES), HATHORS (SW) and Between Sky and Earth (ES/HU/RS).

Two Argentinians and two Columbians in Barcelona! There is no better blend for real rhythms and cheerful notes of ska punk! CHE SUDAKA is a band who will move the crowd on Huawei Fusion stage already on the first day of the festival, while the rhythm and the atmosphere will leave the attendees breathless! At the sole beginning of their career, in 2002, they became known by amazing festival performances, so an unforgettable energy and an even better atmosphere are guaranteed.

Drum and bass acquired a new dimension with one of the biggest live bands and pioneers of this sort of music. Coming to us from the distant New Zealand is the drum and bass attraction – SHAPESHIFTER! With their unique take on modern electronic music with elements of soul, liquid funk and dub, they bring a wonderful energy of live instruments to the stage! Known as great showmen, they dazed festival crowds at Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Parklife and sold out shows across Europe, New Zealand and Australia.

On the last day of Exit festival, Huawei Fusion stage will host a band who is said to embody the golden 60’s, but on steroids! BIRTH OF JOY, an incredible trio form the Netherlands packs the sound of psychedelic rock but will also bring the crowd back to the good old days when The Doors, Pink Floyd and MC5 reigned. This highly active band played at festivals across Europe and the US, while only during the last year they played 97 shows.

QUIMBY
, an alternative Hungarian rock band and Sziget crowd’s favourites, are coming to Huawei Fusion stage on 10th July. After 15 years of stage presence and 15 albums and EP’s they will present a versatile sound of rock, folk, gypsy rock, latin folk and reggae with psychedelic effects. With the most diverse colors and lyricsin Hungarian, they will certainly embody Fusion’s “trip around the world” in the best possible way.

Like the stage’s name, the bands coming from all parts of the world are characterized by fusions of different music genres.

In that spirit, on 10th July, Huawei Fusion will welcome the band ORANITZA from Bulgaria, which combined the uncombinable: folk, drum and bass, hip hop, dubstep, all with aboriginal themes. This powerful blend of Bulgarian folklore and foreign musical styles made them well known across Europe and brought up a new kind of Balkanbeat – Bulgarbeat!

On 11th July, initially trash-metal band SEWARD, the best kept secret from Barcelona, arecoming to Huawei Fusion stage. They are blending elements of folk, broken beats, samples, effects and even a banjo. Their interesting music wasn’t left unnoticed which is why they played multiple sets at Primavera Festival, as well as numerous other concerts.

They are loud, they play energetic rock and they are coming to Huawei Fusion on 11th July! They are HATHORS, band from Switzerland named after the Egyptian goddess of peace, but also of chaos, symbolizing the music of this amazing band.

The treat of EXIT festival’s last day comes in a different form. This time, Huawei Fusion stage’s visitors will enjoy the BETWEEN SKY AND EARTH concept, a musical-dance performance by incredible artists who come from different musical and cultural contexts with one thing in common – flamenco! Flamenco Nuevo: Between Sky And Earth are characterized by mixing traditional flamenco music and dance with ethno, contemporary and experimental music. The artists who take part in this new project have already performed with different groups in Spain, Hungary, UK, Norway, Germany, Japan…
