Exciting additions to the conference program.
The winter festival Where´s the Music? 2015 is taking place in less than two months in Norrköping, 12-14 February. Today, we are excited to present the new additions to the conference program. Linda Portnoff from Musiksverige, well-renowned Sandra Nordin, and founder of Coda Agency Rob Challice are accompanied by, among others, Elisabeth Widlund from SAMI, Petra Markgren Wangler, as well as FKP Scorpio’s Managing Director/Head of Festival Booking Stephan Thanscheidt.
Linda Portnoff has a PhD in Economics and is Operation Manager at Musiksverige. Musiksverige is an organisation that pursues the interests of the whole music industry. They unite artists, composers, writers, musicians, managers, producers, record labels, and publishers in Sweden.
Sandra Nordin entered the world of major labels at Sony Music in 1994. After that she has among other things worked at Capitol Records, founded the promotion agency “Saint Promotion” and pursued other challenges in the world of PR. Today, Sandra is running her own company with clients such as Kent, Lykke Li, Ola Salo, Familjen, iamiwhoami, Ninsun Poli, Teddybears, Summerburds, and Nalen Restaurang.
We also welcome Rob Challice to the festival. He has over 28 years of experience in the music industry, where has worked as an agent, promotor, and a festival organizer. He is one of the founders of London based agency Coda Agency, founded in 2002. Today, Rob is representing artists such as Bon Iver, Beirut, Calexico, John Grant, tUnE-yArDs, Raury, Warpaint, Sufjan Stevens, and Kings of Convenience. This year Coda entered a partnership with Paradigm.
