More stellar names have been added to ADE’s conference program, and the first festival events have just been revealed.

ADE’s conference program is gearing up for a bumper 19th edition with a host of names who are at the top of their game from across the entertainment world. On top of that, this year’s ADE Festival looks likely to set new records in terms of attendance and number of events.

Q&A Hans Zimmer

Zimmer, an acknowledged master of combining classical and electronic sounds, will be appearing in a far-ranging, and in-depth keynote Q&A session. He will be discussing how he got to the top of his trade, how he manages, steers and maintains his stellar career, as well as revealing some of the new projects we can expect to see him involved in over the coming year. Eelko van Kooten will be revealing how he and his business partner Roger de Graaf have made Spinnin’ Records into one of the most powerful indies in the electronic world. Beers, producer on Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice and Scandal, and leading music supervisor Patsavas Rosenfeld will be taking part in The Hollywood Music Game panel, discussing the art of TV composition and how artists should approach the business of composing for film and TV. Read more

Steve Schnur in Music Is Not A Game…Is It?

EA Games’ Steve Schnur, worldwide executive, music and music marketing for Electronic Arts (EA), will be appearing on Music Is Not A Game…Is It? He will be examining how gaming could eventually be used to train upcoming musicians and help to replace the skill-gap created by the increasing numbers of people choosing not to learn instrumental and compositional skills in traditional ways. ADE Festival: first events revealed

The first ADE Festival events have also been revealed, with the return of the Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF), and the up-scaling of the event to Sensations’ homebase the Amsterdam Arena, as well as Dave Clarke celebrating the 10th anniversary of Dave Clarke presents at ADE.
