We Are Grape Celebrate 10 Years at the Forefront of Broadcast and Music Entertainment

We Are Grape are gearing up for their 10 year milestone and have plenty to celebrate this Autumn, including the launch of Sarah Story’s brand new Friday night Radio 1 show and a new series of Spotify’s flagship music podcast ‘Who We Be_Talks’.

With a diverse team of creatives, producers, sound designers, editors and innovators, Grape is at the forefront of radio, podcast, broadcast and music entertainment with clients including world-leading platforms and brands such as BBC Radio 1, Spotify, BBC 6 Music, Red Bull Music, BBC Sounds, Amazon Music and Bauer.

Launching the independent production company in 2011, founder Rachel Barton carved a niche for her business with an ethos of creating meaningful work of the highest-quality. Grape is now unique within the audio production sector, being very focused on its two areas of expertise; music and young audiences.

“Reaching the milestone of 10 years in business makes me feel very proud. The audio landscape has vastly changed over the last decade, and we have adapted and evolved every time. The sheer quality and diversity of Grape’s output continues to excite me and our renewed focus on music and young audiences gives us clarity and purpose.” says Rachel.

Grape continues to grow, winning multiple new and exciting commissions. In April 2021, having worked with her for some years, Grape brought The Blessed Madonna to Saturday nights on BBC 6 Music. Her weekly show is a celebration of all dance floor sounds, including a deep dive into an era or topic relating to dance music. At the end of August, Grape produced an Audio Content Funded documentary for Absolute Radio ‘Songs From Amy’s Jukebox’, celebrating the legacy of Amy Winehouse centered around the Jukebox where she kept her favourite tracks of all time. September will mark a new era for BBC Radio 1’s Friday night lineup after Annie Mac’s departure, and Grape is launching and producing new signing Sarah Story’s ‘Future Dance’ show, broadcast at 8pm.

“From the company’s inception, Grape has always had a deep knowledge of dance music radio, having produced BBC Radio 1 dance shows and live events, including Annie Mac’s Friday show, for many years. To launch The Blessed Madonna and Sarah Story’s new shows on the BBC, and continuing to produce Pete Tong, Dance Anthems with Charlie Hedges and Annie Nightingale, feels incredibly exciting and we remain so proud to be working with such talented and passionate presenters.’ adds Rachel.

Starting from the ground up, Rachel also knows the importance of building a strong team and now has 11 talented staff members.

“Grape has the best team we’ve ever had. Each person takes great pride in their individual projects and that can really be heard across our output. We have deep and varied expertise across the company, so we can ensure our podcasts, radio shows, audio documentaries and event radio projects connect with the audiences they are made for, leaving a legacy and ensuring listeners return time and again.”

“In the last 6-12 months, we have reshuffled the existing team, making a number of promotions, as well as recruiting new team members to facilitate the projects we are working on. I am incredibly proud of how little employee turnover we have within Grape; it’s very important to me that the team feel happy and motivated in their roles, so we are all invested in the growth of the business."

Rachel has achieved so much in the past 10 years, having won a competition on BBC Radio 1 in 2003, securing a year’s traineeship working at the station on Pete Tong’s show. Eight months into her trainee year, she was asked to be part of the team to launch Annie Mac’s first show. Having gone on to produce many of Radio 1’s dance shows, Rachel then left the BBC in 2011, launching Grape soon after.

“Growing up in the countryside, Pete Tong’s Friday night Radio 1 show was my religion. I was one of many avid listeners frantically scribbling down the names of the tracks he played, and then going to my local record shop to try to find them. To secure a traineeship working at the station was life-changing and to then spend the next eight years working across the dance shows was the best training ground I could have wished for and really set me up with the knowledge to make Grape a success.” says Rachel.

“Now with our clients including world-leading platforms and brands such as Spotify, Red Bull Music, BBC Sounds, Amazon Music and Bauer, I continue to feel incredibly excited about our sector and Grape’s place within it.”

“The joy of audio creation is that as producers, we can always strive for more. There are always new shows to create, new artists to develop and celebrate, new audiences to reach - it’s a joy to do my job, working alongside the best team, presenters and clients in the world.”

Concluding a summer festival season with 3 successful events and 225.000 visitors, EXIT opens ticket sales for 2022

EXIT in Serbia, Sunland in Bulgaria and Sea Dance in Montenegro - all organized by the EXIT team - were visited by a total 225,000 people this summer, reigniting the festival scene of Europe and giving the opportunity to performers like David Guetta, Paul Kalkbrenner, Charlotte de Witte, Nina Kraviz, Solomon and many more to perform in front of bigger crowds for a first time after a long compulsory break. EXIT is already planning next year’s event, as ticket sales for the festival start this Friday.

THANK YOU | EXIT 20th anniversary 2021
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ph0QK3TVIqI

"We were both proud and humble for the chance to reunite with fans and favourite artists at as many as three of our festivals over the summer. However, that opportunity was not served to us, we had to fight for it! We have shown great responsibility and taken rigorous safety measures, thanks to which everything passed without a mass spread of the infection, thus proving that big festivals can be held safely even under the pandemic conditions. This proof is crucial in the further struggle of the festival industry for self-preservation in 2022, so that other countries could follow the examples of Serbia and Great Britain, which showed courage in opening up to large events", stated the founder and director of the EXIT Festival, Dušan Kovačević.

The introduction to the successful summer for EXIT's festival family was made by the multiple European festival champion EXIT, which took place from July 8 to 11 at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad. EXIT, according to the reports from reputable world media, held a historic edition and registered as the first major festival in the world to take place since the beginning of the pandemic. Admission to the festival was limited to those who were vaccinated, tested negative with a PCR or rapid test or had the virus and recovered with antibodies, with a negative antigen test, while scientific studies conducted at the Festival proved that there has not been any mass spread of the virus at and after EXIT!

The Festival was also marked by a strong international line-up - during the four days of the festival with performances from David Guetta, Nina Kraviz, DJ Snake, Paul Kalkbrenner, Solomun, Sabaton, Amelie Lens, Robin Schulz, Charlotte de Witte, Asaf Avidan, Artbat, and many others. The most devoted festival fans, whose passion for live music was stronger than all the uncertainties and restrictions, came to EXIT from over 70 countries around the world. Their great desire united with the same need of performers, which created such a strong energy that almost all performers felt that their performance at this year's EXIT was one of the most important in their careers, and that after the pandemic they finally got the necessary energy and inspiration to create new music. The first headliners for EXIT 2022 were recently announced - the great Nick Cave and his band, The Bad Seeds, will arrive at the Main Stage of the Festival on 8 July and Boris Brejcha will headline legendary mts Dance arena!

EXIT's family became richer for another member at the end of July, when the new Sunland festival launched in Bulgaria. In the first year, it gathered great performers, including Nina Kraviz, IAMDDB, Offenbach, Matador, as well as the prominent regional and domestic artists. The beautiful Perla beach, near the Bulgarian town of Primorsko, was visited by about 15,000 people during the three festival days.

Sea Dance Festival, located on the beautiful beach of Buljarica in Montenegro, ended early Monday morning after the masterful performances of Tale Of Us, Boris Brejcha and Ann Clue, and 16 hours of the closing day programme that started on Sunday afternoon! For four days, the audience enjoyed inspired performances by Maceo Plex, Meduza, Topic, Satori, and many local and regional stars. More than 25,000 people passed through the festival gates during the festival. The security protocol created at EXIT Festival was also applied at the Sea Dance Festival.

EXIT’s family will continue to grow with the first festival that is unique in the Balkans - the ADA Divine Awakening Festival of Consciousness and Intimacy.  More than 40 exceptional lecturers in the fields of partnerships, sexuality and personal development will come to the magical Ada Bojana in Montenegro in September, along with well-known musicians from the region and the world. Then comes the European festival champion - EXIT's No Sleep festival, which is planned for November and will complete this extremely successful season for the EXIT team.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Boris Brejcha are the first confirmed headliners of the 21st edition of the EXIT Festival, to be held from 7th to 10th July 2022. The Early Bird sale of entry tickets, as well as camping and other services for EXIT festival will start from 3rd of September on the official EXIT website.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to Headline EXIT Festival 2022

The great Nick Cave and his band The Bad Seeds are the first confirmed headliners of the 21st edition of the EXIT festival, to be held from 7th to 10th July 2022. One of the most original and influential bands in the world, led by an indestructible rock preacher, will thunder from the festival’s Main Stage on Friday, 8th July, and after an unforgettable performance by The Cure, continue the trend of rock legends performing at EXIT. Their performances, intense and loud, charged with powerful emotions and charisma, are always more than just concerts, and often more than the music itself, making them ideal headliners for the beginning of a new era of the two-time European festival champion. Single day tickets for 8th July 2022 are available from today.

“With this year’s historical edition, which marked the return of major festivals, EXIT proved that the strength of unity and will is bigger than the biggest obstacles threatening to separate us this year as well. Moreover, we proved to the world that there is a way for festivals to be organized safely, even during a pandemic. While the story of the miracle that happened at our magical fortress continues to traverse the planet, we look with great optimism at 2022, when Novi Sad will be the European Capital of Culture, an achievement that Exit’s team brought to our city. We believe that there is no better way to announce such an important edition of the festival than with one of the greatest rock and roll artists ever,” said the founder and director of the EXIT festival, Dušan Kovačević.

Nick Cave’s biography could provide enough “fuel” for any ordinary artist, let alone one of the greatest rock poets in history. With an almost 50-year-long career, which began back in 1973 with the founding of the band The Boys Next Door, Nick Cave is considered the embodiment of rock’n’roll, a person who has deeply influenced the history of popular culture and its greatest achievements. Musically educated and talented, Nick has always wanted to pursue rock because, as he says, it is revolutionary and has the power to change people. By his admission, at the very beginning, American rockers as well as the British band Jethro Tull had a significant influence on his work, helping him develop a recognizable personal style, which changed over the years, both in terms of sound and in terms of his approach to songwriting.

He began his journey with The Bad Seeds in 1983, after the collapse of the cult band The Birthday Party, and created, according to media reports, one of the most significant phenomena in the era of post-punk and alternative rock from the 80’s to the present day. In almost four decades on the scene, the band has released 17 studio albums, and it is difficult to determine which one had the greatest impact. The furious ’80s and ’90s were marked by outstanding releases such as „From Her To Eternity,“ „Good Son,“ „Henry’s Dream, “ and „Let Love In,“ brilliantly rounded off with the best live album of the period, „Live Seeds“ from 1993. The band’s commercial success and a kind of turning point was marked by „Murder Ballads,“ a rather bloody collection of songs and their best-selling edition to date. The next step showed all the splendour of Cave’s massive talent in the calmest but also the most emotional songbook so far – „The Boatman’s Call.“

The subsequent albums, no less ingenious „No More Shall We Part,“ „Nocturama“ and „Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus“ brought, among other things, a breakup with two influential members of the band, Mick Harvey and Blix Bargeld, after which Warren Ellis became Cave’s main collaborator. The two started the band Grinderman and created the excellent album „Carnage“ last year. Finally, the current phase of the band’s work began 15 years ago and resulted in four absolute masterpieces, each of which conquered new peaks in creativity: „Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!“, „Push The Sky Away,“ „Skeleton Tree, “ and the double „Ghosteen“ from 2019.

The Petrovaradin Fortress hosted Nick Cave twice —in 2011 with Grinderman and in 2013 with The Bad Seeds. Both times, through powerful and loud performances, he showed the permanency of his relationship with fans from this part of the world. He has performed in the region more than ten times, and on 8th July 2022, he returns as the first headliner of EXIT, a festival whose 20th anniversary, along with the fact that it was the first major European festival this summer, has been one of the most important pieces of music news of 2021.

Sunland Festival – Youngest Member of Exit's Festival Family
The premiere edition of Sunland, a new festival from the Exit family, was held last weekend in front of 15,000 people on one of the most impressive beaches in Bulgaria — the enchanting Perla near the town of Primorsko. During the three festival nights, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy the performances of Nina Kraviz, IAMDDB, Offenbach, Matador, Tijana T, and many others. The performers particularly praised Sunland's location and the complete festival experience, so Nina Kraviz spent three days on the Bulgarian coast, and Offenbach partied with resident DJs until the morning after their performance at the festival.

Security Protocol for Entering the Festival
One of the key conditions for the festival taking place is adherence to security protocols for the organisation of mass events, which the EXIT festival applied in Novi Sad, but adapted to the conditions in Montenegro. The festival will be open to anyone who has received at least one dose of the vaccine, anyone who can prove that they have had COVID (with a document no older than 180 days), and anyone who can present a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result.

Scientific study shows no Covid infections at EXIT Festival

A scientific study was conducted in Novi Sad during the past two weeks, aimed at assessing the impact of the EXIT Festival on the spread of the Covid-19 virus, as well as the degree of effectiveness of the "Safe Events Serbia" security protocol, which was rigorously applied at the EXIT Festival.  The research was organized by the professional staff of the Health Centre Novi Sad and the association Project Lab, under the leadership of the Head of the Research Team, epidemiologist and Assistant professor, Marija Milić MD.

"In order to examine the risk of contracting a new Coronavirus during a visit to a mass event, in the situation where all preventive measures have been applied, and when all visitors were required to be fully vaccinated or have a negative test for Coronavirus, it was decided that during EXIT Festival would be conducted a scientific study, thus using a unique opportunity to gain new scientific knowledge about the virus," said Assistant professor,  Milić MD.

A total of 345 visitors were divided into two groups - vaccinated and those who entered the festival with a negative test. They were tested before entering the festival, from July 8 to 10, and only one person was positive, who was not allowed to enter the festival. The testing was repeated after seven days, from July 15 to 17, and the results are more than encouraging - in both groups not one person tested positive for Covid-19!

"With rigorous entry control, such research results were expected. It will take some time to get the final analysis results, but it can already be said, both based on research and the daily number of newly infected people in Novi Sad, that the EXIT Festival was not a place of mass infection with the virus, "said the director of the Novi Sad Health Centre, Veselin Bojat.

Another convincing proof that there was no mass spread of the virus at Exit is the fact that even 10 days after the start of the festival there was no significant deterioration of the epidemiological situation in Novi Sad, and also that the daily statistics of the virus in the period from 8 to 19 July in the city did not differ from the averages in the rest of the country.  Another indicator is the fact that out of almost 20,000 foreigners who visited EXIT, and who in most cases needed PCR to return to their country, only one visitor tested positive.

In Europe, researches on smaller events have been conducted so far, and they have also shown that, with the stated limitations, concerts and festivals are low risk places for the transfer of Covid-19 virus. The research at EXIT Festival was the first to be done on a mass music event attended by tens of thousands of people, so these results are expected to be one of the key arguments in the struggle to bring back major events worldwide.

"Research from Exit proves that even during a pandemic, a means and a model can be found according to which even the largest events can take place completely safely. This research is our contribution to the struggle of the entire music industry for far better treatment in Europe and other countries than has been the case so far.  We have proven that we have been treated unfairly in the past, and that there are no longer any arguments and justifications that can allow gatherings at sporting events, in cafes or shopping malls, and not at concerts and festivals. I call on our entire industry to, just like we have fought and won in Serbia, join forces and fight for the fair treatment of our industry on the international level ", said the founder and director of the EXIT Festival, Dušan Kovačević.

Access restriction measures at EXIT Festival were applied rigorously, over 16,111 checks of visitors with a Digital Green Certificate were performed, of which as many as 95 percent were immunized by vaccination. For all those who did not have a valid Digital Green Certificate, free testing was organized. In five days, 18,336 people were tested, and only 10 or 0.05 percent of those tested were positive and not allowed to enter the festival. Medical staff were also on hand to take care of their medical conditions. Visitors from abroad were checked in accordance with the documentation with which they entered the country, which in most cases was a PCR test.

180,000 visitors celebrated life together, as Serbia’s EXIT Festival became the first major European festival to take place this summer

EXIT Festival went down in history as the first major festival in Europe to take place this summer after the pandemic, with over 180,000 music lovers from more than 70 countries going through the festival gates in Novi Sad, Serbia during the four days and nights.

EXIT, being a multiple winner of the ‘Best European Major Festival’ award, also celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, as music fans reunited and danced together once again to celebrate life and the return to normality. Proving the huge need for events and a pent up energy from music fans, all 4-day tickets were also sold out almost a week before the event started. In spite of the pandemic, EXIT’s crowd this year was as colorful as it gets, with over 50% of the 4-day ticket holders coming from abroad.

Many of the artists had their first major show at EXIT after almost 18 months of silence and according to tens of thousands of fans this accumulated energy resulted in some of the best performances of their whole career.  Just like the first EXIT Festival 20 years ago was sign of return of normal life to the Balkans, this year’s edition once again proved the power this festival represents, but this time providing a best case on the global level.

Dusan Kovacevic, EXIT Founder & CEO said:
"The magic that happened during the last four days in the fortress was out of this world. This year’s event was more than just a festival, it was a movement of people, ready to do whatever it takes to keep human connections at the forefront of our existence. Festivals are generally made to promote values worth living for and we are determined to prove that festivals can be organised safely even during the pandemic. That’s why we have worked tirelessly to create a best practice model on how to do it. Besides our own event, we also hope that EXIT will be an encouragement to all our international festival colleagues, the ‘Festival Family’, that it is possible for all of us.

David Guetta, headlining day 4 of the festival, summarized all this by simply saying: “it's the best place to be right now on the entire planet!”

EXIT’s brave effort for the chance to finally happen this year did pay off, but the organisers are also very thankful for the trust of the fans, who made these four days a miracle.

“A festival is only as strong as its fanbase and during these four days we gathered probably the most passionate festival fans in Europe and beyond! The ones that didn’t mind to come despite all uncertainties about cancellations and travelling, PCR tests and other obstacles. They felt the same super strong need we had all this time, a need for us to be together no matter what, united as one, by the power of music and life. ” - Kovacevic added.

In spite of a year with almost no live tours in Europe, EXIT’s great list of international headliners included David Guetta, Sabaton, Charlotte de Witte, Nina Kraviz, Paul Kalkbrenner, Solomun, Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex, Robin Schulz, Asaf Avidan, Satori, Meduza, Paul van Dyk, DJ Topic, Artbat, Sheck Wes and more.

As also mentioned on EXIT’s social media platforms, the organisers were truly sorry that a few artists had to cancel at last minute, mainly due to pandemic-related reasons which also affected big sporting events like the Football European Championship and Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

“I’m personally very thankful for the star performers who stepped in last minute. They are our heroes and our friends forever! And once again, a gigantic thank you goes out to the EXIT fans who understood the situation and stood by our side all the way!” - Kovacevic added.

Besides programming the event, the biggest challenge of 2021 were the ever-changing regulations due to Covid 19. EXIT worked closely with the Serbian authorities and health organisations to create a protocol that was both acceptable legally and also realistic to follow for the fans. Visitors were allowed to enter the event either with proof of immunity (vaccination or antigens from a past infection), or a negative test (either before entering the country, or at the test zone set up by the festival). The "Safe Events Serbia" safety protocol, in accordance with the latest scientific research, was created to make summer festivals in Serbia the safest gathering places in the country. Early statistics show just that, with less than a dozen positive cases from approx. 14.000 tests done at the festival’s pre-entry test zone.

4 days packed with quality music and more:
EXIT’s mainly about music and party, but not just that. The venue being a 17th century fortress in itself creates a visual environment that inspires both the fans and the artists.

The first day back at the Fortress was full of emotions. Amelie Lens plastered her Instagram with photos and videos, including posts like "So, this happened last night!!!!!!" Also on Instagram, Charlotte de Witte posted “This felt so, so good!”. DJ Snake also exclaimed “We are back!” during his Main Stage set and Roni Size, EXIT's first international headliner, also posted about his new encounter with the Fortress saying – "20 Years Later We Remain Greater!

On Friday, Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton brought their wild energy to the Main Stage and Paul Kalkbrenner's performance at EXIT was his first after 18 months. His magical set was also recorded for his new video, as a diary of a return to normal life. "Turn on the lights, let me see the people; I miss people," said also very emotional Amira Medunjanin from the Visa Fusion stage, wiping tears from her eyes.

On Saturday, Nina Kraviz produced a set of epic proportions. In the style of the biggest rock concerts, the audience chanted Nina's name, as she returned to the stage for not one, not two, but three encores! On the Main Stage, festival visitors experienced a fantastic performance from Satori, presenting music from the album he recorded in Serbia. Other artists enchanting the audience on the main stage were Asaf Avidan, Robin Schulz and Paul Van Dyk, keeping the crowd dancing until 5:30 in the morning.

The final evening of this year's EXIT was marked by amazing performances of two all-time greats. David Guetta’s Main Stage headline performance lived up to all expectations, as the French star laid down a memorable future rave set, infused with his biggest hits. The honor of closing the program on the mts Dance Arena and the entire festival went to Solomun with a massive five-hour set until 10am.

Serbia’s EXIT Festival is the first major European festival to open its gates and reunite with 42,000 visitors on the first day

Novi Sad based EXIT is the first major festival in Europe to take place this summer, opening its gates on 8 July. This year, the multiple winner of the ‘Best European Major Festival’ award will also celebrate its 20th anniversary. But besides looking back, the organisers are also looking forward to a bright future. A total of 42,000 fans from over 70 countries enjoyed the first night, proving a strong point for the festival industry that they can take place safely and be part of our lives once again in the same way as large sporting events.

The Serbian event is no stranger to leading the way, being in the frontline of bringing peace and freedom in Serbia and the Balkans two decades ago and is accustomed to organising a festival in difficult circumstances.

Dusan Kovacevic, EXIT Founder & CEO said:

“I believe this is our destiny. 20 years ago, after all the misery that happened in the Balkans during the 90's, EXIT was a symbol of returning to normal life for the region. And in 2021 EXIT festival is again a sign of normal life after the pandemic, but this time on a global level.”

“The energy created in the fortress when thousands of us were united again, elevated us to the highest possible level and opened a new dimension of the festival experience. I believe that each of us had to rub our eyes to make sure we’re not dreaming.”

It was a day of great emotions at the famous Petrovaradin Fortress, as music fans reunited and danced together once again to celebrate life and the return to normality. EXIT’s crowd is as colorful as it gets with over 50% of the 4-day ticket holders coming from abroad, representing more than 70 countries.

One of the headliners of the first day, Belgian star DJ Charlotte de Witte said:
“Reuniting with tens of thousands of fans from all over the world is an emotional occasion. EXIT's mts Dance Arena is one of the most incredible open-air stages in the world and has such an atmosphere, especially in the early hours of the morning, when the sun is rising over the fortress walls. It is truly magical"

It was her first show after show in front of large audience since the pandemic began and a return to the fortress after performing infront of only 500 people for EXIT’s Lifestream in 2020.

In a symbolic moment DJ Snake exclaimed during his headline set on the Main Stage:
“We are back!”

Proving the huge need for events like this one, EXIT 4-day tickets were sold out almost 1 week before the event started. The event will have 3 more days to go, finishing on Sunday, 11 July.

Brief summary of Day 1 programs

This year's EXIT program kicked off with performances from international and regional stars, including DJ Snake (FR) who headlined the Main Stage alongside legendary drum and bass artist Roni Size (GB), the first international headliner of EXIT from 2001, performing with MC Dynamite (GB). Regional artists warmed up the crowd, including Hladno Pivo (HR) and Senidah (SL).

The mighty mts Dance Arena is considered by many in the e-music world as the best dancefloor on the globe, so once again it was filled with tens of thousands of electronic music worshipers, waiting for the legendary sunrise over the fortress walls which is truly breathtaking. This year did not disappoint with headline sets from Charlotte de Witte (BE) and Amelie Lens (BE) and local stars Tijana T (RS) and Ilija Djokovic (RS).

The underground sounds of electronic music were showcased on the No Sleep Stage with the likes of Eelke Kleijn (NL), Agents of Time (IT) and Patrice Baumel (DE) with the Fusion stage hosting the best local and regional bands including Fran Palermo (HU), Marko Louis (RS), HEMI award nominees Sajzerbiterlemon (RS) and Helem Nejse (BA).

4 days of music:

The complete 4-day program from July 8 to 11 features over 20 stages and zones with an all star line-up led by David Guetta, DJ Snake, Sabaton, Charlotte de Witte, Paul Kalkbrenner, Solomon, Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex, Robin Schulz, Asaf Avidan, Satori, Boris Brejcha, Honey Dijon, Hot Since 82, Meduza, Paul van Dyk, DJ Topic, Artbat, Sheck Wes and many others.  Live streams can be watched at EXIT’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.

EXIT History:

The festival was founded in 2000 in the University Park as a student movement, fighting for democracy and freedom in Serbia and the Balkans. After the downfall of the Milosevic regime, EXIT moved to the Petrovaradin Fortress in 2001. Social responsibility is still the key aspect of the festival activities, with the main focus on environmental and humanitarian involvement, the creative industries’ development, as well as regional cooperation. EXIT has been praised by the leading international media as one of the best music festivals in the world. During its 20 years history, EXIT has hosted internationally acclaimed music stars such as The Cure, The Killers, Guns N’ Roses, Franz Ferdinand, Motörhead, Iggy Pop, David Guetta, Massive Attack, Liam Gallagher, Fatboy Slim, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy, Migos, Sex Pistols, Moby, Arctic Monkeys, Chemical Brothers, Faith No More, LCD Soundsystem, Nick Cave, Jamiroquai, Slayer, Ellie Goulding, Hardwell, Carl Cox, Avicii, Nina Kraviz and many others.
