Exit festival has an electronic line up that makes most festivals weep with envy! This year is no exception, with The Chemical Brothers playing only four festival shows this summer, Exit was top on their list! Joining them are media darlings LCD Soundsystem, Royksopp, Pendulum live, The Klaxons, the elusive DJ Shadow and the delightful Ms Dynamite, who may well even join Zinc for an impromptu ‘Wile Out’ live PA during his set.
The mighty Dance Arena features David Guetta, Chromeo live, Crystal Castles live, Ricardo Villalobos, Josh Wink, Moderat live, Crookers, Boys Noize, Erol Alkan, A-Trak, SebastiAn, Busy P, DJ Mehdi, Laidback Luke, Dirty South, Riva Starr, Black Rose, Ost & Kjex live, Solomun, Ida Engberg and Zombie Disco Squad. World renowned for its incredible energy, the EXIT Dance Arena provides an awe inspiring backdrop set in the moat of the fortress walls and dancing to the sunrise, it’s an experience not to be missed! The Main Stage after 2am program consist of 4 nights of big bassline sounds, the Drum & Bass program features the scene’s top artists including; DJ Zinc & Dynamite MC, DJ Friction & MC I.D, Breakage & Stamina MC, London Elektricity & MC Wrec, Foreign Beggars, DJ Randall & MC Moose, Mistajam & MC Majestic, Plastician, DJ Chef & MC Flowdan, and South Rakkas Crew feat Serocee & Lady Chann.
And if that wasn’t enough, EXIT is crammed with over 20 stages featuring a broad and staggering array of artists. The Fusion Stage is where you will find some of the coolest electronic bands featuring New York experimental rocksters Yeasayer, Sweden’s trio Miike Snow, and electro-pop’s Does it Offend You Yeah?, Midnight Juggernauts and Jamaica.

Taking place from Thursday 8th – Sunday 11th July, in the magical Petrovaradin Fortress overlooking the river Danube, EXIT has a variety of stages to appeal to absolutely everyone, cheap food and drink onsite and the best campsite entertainment whilst bathing in the hot Balkan sunshine. EXIT is one of the most highly regarded festivals in Europe, being nominated for ‘Best Overseas Festival’ in the UK Festival Awards for the past 3 years and winning the coveted title in 2007. In addition EXIT was nominated for ‘Best Major Festival’ in the inaugural European Festival Awards that took place in The Netherlands in January 2010. Exit’s 10th Anniversary was also one of the most spectacular events of 2009 with all advance four day tickets selling out in advance.
Launched 11 years ago as a student initiated protest against the communist Milosevic regime, EXIT has proved that music is a universal language that can connect and bring people together to make the world a better place. Exit Festival is held in the lovely city of Novi Sad, situated 100kms from Belgrade, Serbia. There are various options on getting to Novi Sad ;
There are direct and indirect flights from all European countries to Belgrade, which is the nearest city to Novi Sad. Alternatively, the cheaper and more adventurous route is through Budapest on a cheap airline and then getting to Novi Sad by road.
Fly to Belgrade – Novi Sad is 1 hour by car/bus from Belgrade airport.
Fly to Budapest with Easyjet, Ryan Air, cheap airlines and get a bus, train or car to Novi Sad – 5 hours.
