Having already announced a ground breaking line up for the Dance Arena, reuniting some of the best and most popular DJs to have performed over the years, for exclusive and back to back sets, EXIT can now reveal more of the headliners that will take the Main Stage by storm for the 10th Anniversary celebrations.
Confirmed acts include;
Arctic Monkeys, Lily Allen, Moby, Manic Street Preachers, Kraftwerk, Madness, Korn, Grandmaster Flash and Patti Smith and by no means least, The Prodigy! – who were voted the best band to have ever performed at EXIT on the festivals website, so it was only fitting to ask them back to rock the fortress once again. And we cant wait!
And celebrating a decade in dance with exclusive b2b sets;
Carl Cox vs Green Velvet, Sasha vs John Digweed, Richie Hawtin vs Dubfire, Eric Prydz vs Adam Beyer, Sander Kleinenberg vs Darren Emerson, Steve Lawler vs Lee Burridge, Steve Angello vs Sebastian Ingrosso, Kissy Sell Out vs Alex Metric, Paul Woolford vs Yousef with more tasty collaborations to be announced! Live acts include Etienne De Crecy live, Reboot live, Gui Barotta live and Japanese Popstars.
If that wasnt enough for the 10th Birthday Extravaganza there will be over 600 performances taking place on 25 stages connected by cobbled streets, ramparts and tunnels – a walk through the mystical fortress is like a trip through a magical wonderland.
As one of the most highly regarded festivals in Europe, EXIT has captured the imagination of festival goers worldwide with its unique 18th Century fortress location and electrifying atmosphere. This will be the mother of all birthday celebrations.
Launched 10 years ago as a student initiated protest against the communist Milosevic regime, EXIT has proved that music is a universal language that can connect and bring people together to make the world a better place. EXIT is truly an amazing experience that has captured the heart of festival goers worldwide and although it gets bigger each year, the sentiment and unique vibe remains the same. The 10th birthday will be no exception!
