A Fortress Of Bass!
Ever since the first edition of Exit festival in 2001 ended with spectacular show of Roni Size with MC Dynamite chanting: ”Serbia, are you ready for the future” – the living link with the drum and bass underground and this unique Festival was obvious. Serbia was ready for the future and it came with the force of bass.
Is it something about the old fortress that is the home of Exit, or something about the hill overlooking Danube river, that brings out the amazing positive energy from the artists and audience – no one can tell for sure, but anyone will testify that the bass sounds never pump so strong as they do there in front of a 20,000 strong crowd gathered in front of the Main Stage every night, after headlining band finishes the last guitar based note.
