Q&A with Jo Nesbø
An evening with Norway’s bestselling crime novelist.

Jo Nesbø is regarded as one of the world’s leading crime writers, his novels are published in 48 languages and he’s a regular at the top of bestseller lists all over the world, including in the UK and USA.

Nesbø will launch his new novel “Blood On Snow” – featuring a brand new cast of characters – during the by:Larm kickoff on Wednesday 4 March, and he will return to by:Larm for a Q&A in English on Saturday 7. The film rights for “Blood On Snow” have already been sold, with Leonardo DiCaprio as one of the producers and possibly taking a leading role.

Q&A with Emmanuel de Buretel
The man who discovered Daft Punk is coming to by:Larm.

By:Larm 2015 is delighted to announce a VIP Q&A session with one of Europe’s most distinguished music industry figures. Since his career began in the mid-80’s, Emmanuel de Buretel has demonstrated a sixth sense for spotting greatness and anticipating future trends. As the commander of Virgin’s entire operations in France he has helped to boost the growth of French hip hop, global sounds and electronica with artists such as Manu Chao, Air and, most crucially, Daft Punk in the late 1990s.

In a Q&A that’s sure to be as wide ranging as his personal history, M. de Buretel – the first French Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters to appear at by:Larm – will take us through his extraordinary and eclectic journey and reveal the secrets of his success and his visions for the future.
