ADE Green’s conference program is proud to announce the additional names to the Green line up: Kumi Naidoo (Executive Director of Greenpeace International) and Mathias Lenas (Coca Cola)

Amsterdam, Date – On October 15, the second edition of ADE Green takes place during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in the Brakke Grond. Today, ID&T and ADE jointly announce additional top names to the Green’s line up. During ADE Green, Dr Kumi Naidoo, Executive Director of Greenpeace International will look at how to build momentum for the environmental movement by making climate change a mainstream issue and involving all sectors of society in this topic. Mathias Lenas (Coca Cola) will join the representatives from Mysteryland and Shambala Festival in a panel discussion where they explore the world of material management, focusing on plastic.

Besides representatives from prominent festivals, dance events and world leading brands, such as Woodstock 1969 (US), DJ Nicky Romero (NL), the sustainability manager for the London Olympic Games (2012), Lightning in a Bottle Arts and Music Festival (USA), Shambala Festival (UK), Mysteryland (NL), Welcome to the Future Festival (NL) and G-star (NL), Kumi Naidoo (Executive Director of Greenpeace International) and Mathias Lenas (Coca Cola) are also added to the names of people that participate in the Green conference during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Tap water for everyone
Because ID&T and ADE believe it’s our most basic need and a fundamental right to have access to clean drinking water, tap water will be freely and unlimitedly available at ADE’s conferences. Clubs can participate too: Studio 80 and Warehouse have already confirmed they are joining the tap water project. And to facilitate this, all ADE delegates will receive an ADE Green branded refillable water bag as a gift offered by ID&T.

ADE support charities
Good causes and music initiatives that support charities will be represented during ADE Green. The Resident Advisor fundraising bicycle challenge for Bridges For Music finishes during the networking launch. Besides that, representatives from charities like 10,000 HOURS and Dance4Life will be there to network with the music industry.
