JoyCut are Italy’s underground music pioneers, stalwarts of the DIY underground music scene, who have been making mesmerising, mostly instrumental music for decades, connecting with audiences worldwide.

The upcoming event will be a unique chance to listen to songs from the band’s repertoire in a first-time unrepeatable version at Teatro Auditorium Manzoni on 16th September.  The band will perform rearranged versions of songs from the latest album The BluWave together with the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna conducted by Dal Maestro Raven. JoyCut love to perform live and the addition of the Orchestra will make the emotions of their music even more evocative.

In support of Brian Eno’s EarthPercent community, JoyCut will also to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of phonograph records, merchandise and concert tickets to safeguard the planet.

In the wake of the success of their latest album ‘TheBluWave’, JoyCut returned to the United States invited by the historic Seattle radio station KEXP, to record one of their prestigious and exclusive live sessions, which is now available on the radio’s official YouTube channel. Watch the KEXP session here.

Joycut have long been one of Robert Smith from The Cure’s favourite bands. The post-punk legend had regularly name dropped them and brought them over to play his Meltdown Festival in London.
