If clothes maketh the man, Fancy Dress maketh the Snowombing! The themes for 2013 are revealed along with an additional forest party and MTV partnership!
After convincing the polar bears to vacate their magical alpine retreat for an extra night, the Snowbombing gods are pleased to announce that this year there will be not one but TWO FOREST PARTIES!! The iconic venue will play host to not only Kasabian and a very special guest but also an extra night with Example, Disclosure and MistaJam!

Drum roll please … this year’s fancy dress themes are about to be announced. Calling all ringmasters, strong men and bearded ladies, lions, tigers and bears. The infamous Racket Club will be transformed into a classic circus for you to clown around in!
This year’s Street Party will be mixing it up in true Snowbombing style as the streets of Mayrhofen are brought to life through the spirit of Mardi Gras. So shake those tail feathers, don some beads, make a garish mask and wear more disjointed colours than you could shake a stick at.
If all that’s not enough then you should probably head up to the mountain where Norman Jay will be banging out Carnival classics from the top of a double-decker bus in true reggae reggae style.
Up the mountain and on to the Back Country Parties. On Monday, Skream will be setting up Snow White’s Disco Whore House with his good pals Ben Westbeech, Artwork and Route 94.
You’ll need your glow-sticks, whistles, hoodies, and dungarees on Wednesday when we celebrate 25 years of Acid House with Dave Beer, Jon Carter and Marc Roberts. Beep, Beep!
Snowbombing is also very excited to announce MTV as the official broadcasting partner. MTV will be on site throughout the week filming all the crazy shenanigans. From 11th May, you’ll be able to watch it all on MTV MUSIC and MTV LIVE HD and you can even relive the magic upon your return home. If you squint your eyes, you can pretend that you never left.
