Dusan Kovačević, founder of EXIT invited all creative minds to join the contest emphasising that "EXIT is very unique compared to other major festivals in terms of its history, diversity in music and social activism. I encourage you to translate the magic of the whole EXIT Adventure, both EXIT and Sea Dance festivals, into colourful and interesting Viber stickers that will live 365 days a year thanks to your creative work".
Erez Shocher, Creative Director at Viber, provided valuable advice to all contenders: "We are looking for creative stickers that capture the energy and vibe of EXIT, but are also relevant to people beyond the festival. The more useful the sticker, the more popular it will be, so think about the types of stickers and phrases that you like to use with your friends every day. The selected sticker designs will combine that practicality with the unique ethos of EXIT Festival.”

DAVE CLARKE
CHARCOAL EYES: A SELECTION OF REMIXES FROM AMSTERDAM
RELEASE DATE: 16th APRIL 2016
Influential techno and electro icon Dave Clarke has put the finishing touches to a bold new remix project. EntitledCharcoal Eyes: A selection of remixes from Amsterdam, the collection will come out on vinyl, CD and digitally on April 16th and includes comprehensive sleeve notes explaining back stories to each track, as well as a special two verse poem penned by Clarke himself.
Now based in Amsterdam, long time English dance servant Clarke has been synonymous with an abrasive, full throttle brand of electronic music that he has showcased across hundreds of EPs, compilations and albums since the early nineties. Also a celebrated radio pioneer who helms his own long running White Noise show (which also spawned a label of the same name) he has recently finished building a new studio in Amsterdam where much of this work was completed.
Charcoal Eyes finds Clarke taking on a diverse range of artists and adding his own fingerprint to a smorgasbord of sounds. From punk to New Beat, fast rising modern day artists to sadly disbanded bands, a lot of ground is covered, but it is all tied together by the studio nous and singular style of this notoriously outspoken pioneer.
Opening up with a crisp rework of Placebo, the collection touches every shade of techno and electro from slick and futuristic to dark and heavy. importantly, a semblance of the original artists intentions always remains and much like his previous remixes of everyone from Fisherspooner to Depeche Mode, many of these are sure to become cult classics.

The Vaccines and Tinariwen added to Exit Festival line up
One of the best live bands of today's rock scene, The Vaccines, will be premiering at Exit Festival on Saturday, 9 July. The furious London quartet stood shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Coldplay, Mumford & Sons, Muse, and The Rolling Stones as nominees for the Best Live Act at the BRIT Awards; furthermore, the band shared the stage with some of them as an opening act! The Vaccines are the 2012 winners of the NME Award for the Best New Band and they also won the Best Emerging Talent award at the 2011 Q Awards. The band's debut album was the best-selling debut album of 2011, drawing comparisons to The Ramones and The Jesus and Mary Chain, while their second album Come of Age reached no. 1 in UK. They will be joined at Exit’s Main Stage by Tinariwen, a group of true rebels who switched their weapons for guitars becoming globally respected for their art as one the leading world music acts. The desert bluesmen are the Grammy winners for the Best World Music Album, openly admired by music giants such are Robert Plant, Thom Yorke, Henry Rollins, Brian Eno, and many others. New line-up additions also include Greek rockers Tuber, heavy Belgians The Black Heart Rebellion, as well as the New Zealand singer-songwriter Graham Candy.
The Vaccines - If You Wanna: https://youtu.be/uQKjI6395iU
The Vaccines are coming to Exit, with blend of retro surf punk, Ramones guitars and Everly Brothers pop hooks ines. Their fresh guitar sound and witty, modern lyrics very quickly ranked them as one of the most representative and contemporary acts on today’s rock scene. Their debut album “What Did You Expect from The Vaccines?” quickly achieved platinum status, and just eighteen months later, their release “Come of Age” charted at #1 in the UK. The Vaccines’ game-changing third album, English Graffiti has the elements of the old Vaccines, but their sonic palette is completely different, expressing, as frontman Young claims, “a sound that’s from the future”.
Tinariwen - Islegh Taghram Tifhamam: https://youtu.be/DJbr0W8_X0k
Tinariwen, meaning “deserts” in Tamasheq, started their career as a Tuareg rebels against the Malian government, only to get international recognition and support by the world’s biggest stars including U2, Carlos Santana, Robert Plant, Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Chris Martin (Coldplay), after releasing their 2007 album “Aman Iman: Water Is Life”. The band also won the BBC Award for World Music in 2005. “Tassili”, 2011 album brings the Saharan bluesmen the well-deserved Grammy for the Best World Music Album, whereas at Exit Festival the band will present their latest album “Emmaar”, released in 2014, which was recorded in an American desert where the band temporarily settled. The album brought the band a worldwide media coverage and recognition, with Rolling Stone, Le Monde, The New Yorker, The Times, and many others featuring the album on their pages. The fighters for the right of their people will share their blues with festival visitors about Tuareg rebellion against the government, Tuareg tribes and their adventures in the desert, the wars, but also the beauty of the desert, the sky and the lands, their blues as well as nostalgia of an old time.
Greek rockers Tuber transform their inspiration into a strong, firm psychedelic instrumental rock music based on a pure live performance. The Belgian Black Heart Rebellion are bringing an incredible mixture of styles and a freedom to intertwine various music directions, thanks to which the band’s fans always feel a new kind of energy. New Zealand sends its regards to Exit in the form of a 25-year-old musician and actor Graham Candy, who will enchant the Fortress with a burst of his strong indie-pop energy.
Exit festival will be this year from 7 to 10 July at the Petrovaradin Fortress, after which the Exit Adventure moves to the Adriatic Sea for the third annual Sea Dance Festival, held from 14 to 16 July. Confirmed acts for Exit Adventure now include Ellie Goulding, Wiz Khalifa, Hurts, Skrillex, Bastille, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Stormzy, Lost Frequencies, Solomun, Marco Carola, Robin Schulz, Nicky Romero, Cock Sparrer, Anti-Flag, Dub Pistols, DJ Hype, Andy C, clubs Tresor and Concrete, and many others.

About Caprices Festival:
Initiated in 2003, the first edition of Caprices Festival came in 2004 with the idea to bring people and artists together in a dreamlike location in the Swiss Alps: Crans-Montana ski station. With artists like Björk, Portishead, Gorillaz performing next to the ski slopes, Caprices Festival quickly became a tremendous event that draw people from all over the world. In 2009, Caprices carefully conceived the first electronic event on the Swiss Alps slopes. Named Modernity@Caprices, this event instantly became a huge success among avant-garde electronic dance community and reached a broader crowd shortly after. Shifting from a mainstream multi-type of music programming to a cutting-edge electronic exclusive cast last year, Caprices Festival made a bold move showing its strong dedication to the community. The artistic and commercial successes of the 12th edition of Caprices Festival have pushed the 4-day event to the top-of-pile. This year, on April 7th through April 10th, with a brand new key visual, a truly outstanding electronic lineup, an operational excellence, a creative mindset and one of the finest mountain line of the Alps, Caprices Festival is set to be an unmissable party.

OFF Festival Katowice 2016: Minor Victories, DJ Koze, Show Me The Body and more
Many of the artists we’re announcing today have already appeared at the OFF Festival, just not with this music and under these names. That just makes us all the more excited to have them back. Please welcome Minor Victories, Liima, Zimpel/Ziołek, Mutoid Man, Powell, and Mass Gothic.
Minor Victories
The term “supergroup” is frequently abused as a way of selling new ideas by old artists, but what else would call a band that brings together Slowdive vocalist Rachel Goswell, Mogwai guitarist Stuart Braithwaite, Editors guitarist Justin Lockey, and his brother James Lockey (bass and, with Justin, the co-creator of the Hand Held Cine Club video collective)? Minor Victories insist that we just call them a band, because they’re not a short-lived flight of fancy, nor a “project,” but a group founded on the members’ shared musical interests, an act that’s going to be here for years to come. We’re still waiting for their eponymous debut album, slated for release in June on Play It Again Sam, featuring a duet by Goswell and guest artists Marek Kozelek. We’ll have enough time between June and August to memorize the album, which is currently being promoted with the excellent single “A Hundred Ropes.”
Liima
This Danish-Finnish group, based mainly out of Berlin, is releasing their first album, featuring the single “Amerika,” through a legendary British label: it’s a small world after all. The band is called Liima and comprises the phenomenal Finnish drummer Tatu Rönkkö together with Mads, Casper, and Rasmus, whom you might remember from the band Efterklang, which has always been pretty keen on rhythm. Liima’s first album, ii, comes out in late March on 4AD and we think it’s safe to say that this is going to be one of the most interesting debuts of the year.
Zimpel / Ziołek
Wacław Zimpel is a renowned clarinetist and a brilliant improviser, one who combines his classical education with free jazz and an inquisitive approach to roots music. He’s best known for his contributions to such bands as Hera, The Light, and Wacław Zimpel Quartet, as well as his excellent solo album, Lines, released in February. The eternal explorer Kuba Ziołek is a familiar face at the OFF Festival. The list of bands he’s collaborated with is just as impressive as Zimpel’s, but we would be remiss not to mention a few: Stara Rzeka, Alameda 5, Ed Wood, Innercity Ensemble, Kapital, and T’ien Lai. Put together, Zimpel and Ziołek are equal parts potential and mystery: could there be a better reason to see this concert?
Mutoid Man
Buzz! Yes, that’s the right word: there’s been quite a buzz about this band, and it started before anyone had even heard a single note. No wonder: Mutoid Man is a project that brings together some big names from the alternative margins of the metal world. There’s the singer-guitarist Steve Brodsky from Cave In and the drummer Ben Koller of Converge and All Pigs Must Die. Together with Nick Cageao on bass, they form a power trio that absorbs (and then releases onstage) the very best in uncompromising guitar music from the past couple decades. Hymnic heavy metal choruses clash with frenetic Mars Volta-style prog rock before blasting out of the psychedelic curve and into the final, furious hard-core stretch. Their massive debut album Bleeder is a must-listen, though nothing can really prepare you for what’s going to happen at this show.
Powell
According to Resident Advisor, “the club music Oscar Powell wanted to hear didn’t exist, so he made it himself.” The British producer Oscar Powell claims to love post-punk and no wave, but since drum’n’bass is the sound of his generation, he decided to combine all three. The result is a kind of dance music that is at once rough, abrasive, and menacing. He records on his own label, Diagonal, but also works with the Mute sublabel Liberation Technologies, and Death of Rave, a subsidiary of Boomkat. This sounds like the future.
Mass Gothic
Mass Gothic might be a new name, but it ought to catch the attention of anyone who’s into the melancholic electro-rock recordings of New York’s Hooray for Earth. Their frontman disbanded the group in 2014 and subsequently reinvented himself under the moniker Mass Gothic. “I allowed myself to return to the beginning,” he says. His repeat debut Mass Gothic, released on Sub Pop, continues his synth-rock odyssey, combining melancholy with post-punk hostility.
We love contrasts: it’s what the OFF Festival is all about. That’s why we’re inviting you to check out the performance by DJ Koze, one of the top producers on the German scene, as well as a dangerous experiment from New York City known as Show Me The Body.
DJ Koze
The DJ and producer Stefan Kozalla, better known as DJ Koze, is one of the leading figures on the German scene. A long-time associate of the legendary label Kompakt and head of his own label, Pampa, DJ Koze started out in underground hip-hop before moving up to the world’s top clubs with his thrilling dance productions. It’s only fitting that he’d get the honor of compiling the milestone 50th edition of DJ-Kicks for !K7: there are few producers in the world of contemporary electronic music that are as versatile as they are are distinct.
Show Me The Body
Remember last year’s Ho99o9 show? Prepare to sustain similar injuries at the hands of NYC’s Show Me The Body. Combining hardcore with noise and hip-hop, the trio is known for being one of the best live acts to demolish your favorite venue in the past ten years. The hype around these guys is going to get pretty loud. Their concert is going to be even louder.
