Celebrating 10 years of Ed Banger Records at Club Xberg with Justice, Busy P, Breakbot & SebastiAn
The Berlin Festival organisers have already revealed that Blur, Pet Shop Boys and Turbostaat will grace the main stage at Tempelhof Airport on 6th and 7th September 2013. Now, Club Xberg at Arena Berlin is also taking shape, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Ed Banger Records with Justice, Busy P, Breakbot and SebastiAn.
On 6th and 7th September, Berlin Festival will begin 48 hours of festival madness starting at the historic Tempelhof Airport. Once again, when the clock hits midnight the festival will change locations, continuing at Arena Berlin under the guise of Club Xberg until the wee hours.
With the first acts to be announced for Club Xberg, the organisers have a very special occasion to celebrate: the 10th anniversary of Ed Banger Records. As part of a number of Ed Banger birthday bashes all over the globe, the French electro label, which is home to acts like Justice, Uffie and Mr. Oizo, will also touch down in Berlin on 7th September, giving festivalgoers the opportunity to be part of the celebrations.
Joining the birthday party at the Arena’s main room will be Justice with one of their acclaimed DJ sets. Tracks from the duo’s debut album, Cross, and follow up Audio Video Disco have been lighting up dancefloors across the globe since they first broke onto the scene and their legendary energy-filled DJ sets are certain to delight the Berlin Festival crowds at Club Xberg. With the mastermind behind the Ed Banger label, Busy P, also stepping up to the controls at Arena Berlin, a special live performance from Breakbot and DJ set from label mate SebastiAn, the stage is set for a stellar night of music.
